Thank you to those who attended the South Wigston Residents Forum at Fairfield Primary School yesterday. It was great to speak with many of you, hear your concerns, and share some positive updates from the area. For those that couldn't make it, you can find out more below. Local Crime ImprovementsWe’re pleased to report some strong progress: These improvements are a team effort, and your support is appreciated. What Residents Told UsSeveral key concerns were highlighted during the forum: NOS CanistersResidents mentioned increased use and discarded canisters. We will continue patrolling hotspot areas and take appropriate action. Speeding on Fairfield EstateSpeeding remains a concern, particularly around the Fairfield Estate and surrounding roads. In response, we will: E‑Scooters and Illegal E‑BikesConcerns were raised about unsafe and illegal use of e‑scooters and e‑bikes. We are committed to tackling this robustly, and you should see improvements as enforcement increases.
